Prudence Mkansi
As a qualified social worker with a Bachelor of Social Work degree from UNISA, registration with the South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP), and extensive practical experience in social work and employee assistance programs. With over 12 years, I have honed my expertise in preventative social work, family preservation, statutory services, group work, and community development. My experience at organisations such as The Teddy Bear Clinic and the Department of Social Development has equipped me with a strong foundation in facilitating statutory processes, conducting family reunification programs, and working with vulnerable populations. In my current role as an EAP Case Manager, I focus on providing evidence-based interventions, enhancing service delivery, and addressing complex client needs. My ability to manage high-risk cases, trauma cases, develop training materials, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams is complemented by my proficiency in communication, problem-solving, and strategic planning. I am passionate about using my skills to foster positive change within communities and families, aligning with my mission to deliver impactful social services.
