The Mental Health Information Centre of Southern Africa (MHIC) aims to provide the most complete and up to date online directory of mental health professionals/service providers in Southern Africa. This online service allows the general public to search for a mental health professional with relative ease (that’s you!) in their area and at no charge.

The MHIC now invites you to list yourself on our database – at NO cost.

Previously, you were listed in our print directory, but nowadays telephone books and directories serve as nothing more than dead weight, and they become almost instantly out of date when rolled off the press, not to mention the costs involved with printing a book.

We are now online. As a mental health professional/service provider, you can list yourself and/or your organisation for FREE on our online database. You can list yourself in a number of categories and sub-categories, allowing users to find you directly by your field of expertise and interest.

For privacy reasons, your email address will remain hidden from the public, but any member of the public will be able to send you an email directly from our site (while your email address remains invisible). You can then decide whether you wish to respond or not.

Once registered on our online database, you will be able to log in as a user to add or edit your record(s). Our dedicated staff will verify all submissions within one working day, and once approved, your details will appear in the public section of the MHIC’s online directory.
